I'm 39 and my husband is 49. This was our honeymoon. Two nights before the cruise we decided to upgrade our room to a bacony..... Best decision ever. We were originally booked into an ocean view room on the main deck in the middle of the boat. We ended up in 7447... A corner cabin on the Empress deck (7th). It's at the back of the ship with an absolutely HUGE balcony! The balcony was about three to four times the size of the average balcony and wrapped around the corner. It made all the difference in the world to us. We had two lounge chairs, four regular chairs and a small table and it gave us the perfect view. We saw tons of flying fish, a pod of dolphins and. Several whales...... All from our balcony! Not to mention amazing sunsets and sunrises. Definitely a 10.

The food... The buffet was ok... Not gwret although there were a few saving graces.... The back deli on the lido deck serves amazing hot and cold sandwiches late into the evening, there was always great fruit available, and don't miss the chocolate extravaganza!

The food at the sit down brunch in the black pearl was the best breakfast and our diners were all quite good in the gold pearl. Our waiter Kamsi was the best! We were sat at a table of 4 with a rather odd couple but about half way through the trip we had made some good friends that happen to sit very near us in the same waiters section and we were able to make some different arrangements. Overall the food was an 8 but the service was very good in the dining room. Buffet... Was maybe a 5 or 6.
