I had a great time. I traveled from Connecticut with my parents who are in their mid-60's, my older brother and his wife and my husband and two daughters, ages 7 and 8. Celebrity is more geared for adults then children but my kids still had lots of fun. My father treated my brother and I and our families to the cruise so it was free for us.

The Cabin was a bit small but I expected as most cruise ships have small rooms. We had a balcony which made the room less stuffy. It was a great place to take my Kindle and read and just listen to the waves. We had a fold out couch and a bunk bed that came out of the wall that my 7 year old loved.

The food was wonderful, almost too good. The breakfast buffet was the favorite of my girls. They had waffles, bacon, hash browns, danishes, muffins. There was plenty of food for picky kids to like. I loved the omelets myself, my husband loved the smoked salmon they had in the morning. For lunch, you could just go out to the pool deck grill and get a hot dog or hamburger. In the buffet there was made to order pasta, a pizza station, Chinese food, a panini and sandwich station and last but not least the ice cream stand that was a hit with my girls. In the MDR, we had tons of options for dinner. I am a type 1 diabetic and found plenty of things to eat from the menu like roasted chicken and veggie dishes. Our waitress and assistant waiter were wonderful and very kind to our girls. Georgina and Vladimir were terrific. Vlad answered all our silly questions, even the one about what those funny white things are on top of all cruise ships. Satellites and radars of course! Also, my entire family loved Courtney from Jamaica in the Rendezvous bar/lounge room. Made great drinks for us every night and even brought special fruit punch for my daughters.
