Left from Port Liberty Bayonne, NJ on the Explorer of the seas to ST. Thomas, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and Labadee, Haiti. My wife and I traveling alone.

Embarkation Online check in made getting on the ship a breeze. We arrived at the dock at 1:15 the staff printed out our sea pass and we were in our room by 1:30. Room is in a L shape. The cabin steward came by to check if everything was OK. We saw and talked with him every day. He was very efficient and polite.

My wife and I had the first seating for dinner. We are a couple in our sixties. My wife did not like sitting with a bunch of young children and their parents. Nice people but we had nothing in common with them from West Virginia. If I wanted to eat dinner with little kids I would have stayed home and had dinner with my own grandchildren. So we attempted to get our seating changed. How RC seats passengers at the tables is a mystery to me? Makes no sense. We asked the dinning staff to change the seating but they did nothing. We had to go to customer relations twice to get our seating changed. They are reluctant and will ignore your request the first time in hopes you won't bother changing your seating but if your firm and persistent it gets done. Many other people had their seatings changed.
