i wasn't sure about going on a carnival cruise line because of all that has been said. i also read alot of reviews. but the reviews were about the victory. we had a family of five. our stateroom was nice. we were on the seventh floor in the back. the next floor above us were rooms and above that was the night club. the last few nights we could here the club music. it wasnt that bad but i also was on dramamine. the ship was nice i think there food was good. and the guys burgers was really good. they also had a deli the food was really good. they had two different comedy shows. they flew in different people at the end of the tour. they also had a musical show. they also had live music, and they had a panio man in his own room. there was this one person stood out his name was dr. e his name is everst. he was funny. the staff was very friendly. always saying hello giving you a smile. that monday we were at sea so we all were in the pool at night we would hit the club. i love to dance. i More
also think the director needs to stay on directing and get a dj. i hope he reads this but when you have a lot of people dancing you dont make the song short and when you see people clearing off the dance floor thats when you make the song short dont play the hole song. i even know that.
excursions: i booked all of mine on my own, you will save money. mexico we went to mr. sanchos we rented a car because it would of cost us more to take a cab since there was five of us. there place is very nice good food and drinks. very clean. you could pay $50.00 and eat and drink all you want. defintely recommend it. they also have horse back riding jet skis for extra. belize go with butts-up. very hot.we did cave-tubing. it was so worth the $45.00. they pick you up in a coach ac bus. its about a hour drive. there were several guys on the bus. one was named speedy he was funny and while you drive to the caves one of the tour guys will tell you about belize. they also will take you back and you get a tamale. the caves were beautiful. you do have about a 20 min hike. so worth it.
roatan we did the sand blasters dune buggy tour-roatan. it was fun but dry. so there wasnt mud. the owner mike. also very hot. also if you decide to do the beach i read you dont have to take the chair lift to get to the beach if you want to save money.
grand cayman: we just went to the seven mile beach.
we had a wonderful time and i would book a cruise with carnival again. Less
i would do this again. thsi was my favorite. the caves were beautiful. the water of course is cold. im from florida so anything under 80's is cold for me. lol. i read alot of reviews, and i went with BUTTS-UP. it is so worth the $45.00. they pick you up right there from the port. i was amazed such a big bus. it has ac. they had several tour guys there. one was named speedy he was pretty funny. the drive is about and hour so one of the tour guy will talk about belize. it does help . there is about a 20 minute hike. you do walk on flat rocks so if you could get some shoes with a good sole would help. after the caves they will return you to there place and then you will get a tamale. also they have atv now i dont know if you could do the atv tour and caves you would have to look into that. but if you could only do one do the caves. amazing beautiful.
