Not knowing at all what to expect we were pleasantly surprised. The flight from Austin to Miami was delayed so we were very rushed in getting there. We learned to travel to the port the day before in order to avoid this hassle. Once Disney took over though we were treated like royalty. From the bus ride to the ship and back our trip could not have been better. Our stateroom was adequate for our needs. Loved the split bathroom. That made getting dressed for dinner much easier with the two of us getting ready at the same time. We loved the pool area. Only used the Quiet Cove since we did not have our kids along, but it was a lot of fun.
Every dinner was delicious and our servers were spectacular. I loved how everyone knew our names with in the first day and if we saw them any where else on the ship they would stop and talk to us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Our stateroom hostess, Christine was so nice. I think she cleaned our room every time we left. The boat was a lot of fun. Plenty to do at all times. We only saw one show, Toy Story the musical. It was a broadway style production. Very well done and entertaining. We chose to carry our own luggage off the ship on the day of disembarkation, we walked right through Customs and made it to the airport in plenty of time. We are looking forward to returning on another Disney Cruise, this time with our kids.
The verandah is worth the extra money. We loved relaxing outside with a glass of champagne before dinner and watching the water go by. The room itself was large enough that we never felt cramped at all. Plenty of storage for everything that we brought. Loved the split bathroom. It made it much easier for two people to get dressed for dinner at the same time. The room was very clean and our hostess Christine was excellent.
