Hi all,

The wife and are big Celebrity fans with 16 th cruise with Celebrity since 2006. We have been on 3 different Solstice class ships and this was our second time on the Silhouette.

All said Celebrity did not let us down. The RS was really nice and the price was really sweet but that is not what made the over all experience really nice.

The Silhouette is really starting to hum on all cylinders now and just like all the other ships is starting to take on her own personality. The Captain is the youngest in the fleet and is really a hoot. All the other officers seem to try this same approach and this fun personality s reflected in all the wonderful personal on board. This includes waiters, room stewards, pool butlers, bartenders and the cruise director.

Select dining has really improved since they are using both sides of he upper dining room. This was a weak spot on our 1st time on Silhouette. It was very busy and lacked the fun at dinner. However More now it's great. important TIP. They are really busy 7:00 to 8:00 and you will likely wait and not get the same personal attention that you'll enjoy if you come after 8:30. We figured this out and wow we felt like royalty.

Intertwinement was really good...... They had the Beatles impersonators on board and wow they rocked the ship, all the baby boomers in the moment and demanded they play again another night. Hey with11 days at Sea it couldn't be better.

The food was as good as always in all the non additional cost places. So much so that we never made it to Blue, however did Tuscan,Qsine and Lawn Club.. This was our first time in the Lawn Club and it was truly a fun experience. It's a little pricey but you got to do it once cause they really I put on a show. Food .... Did I say it was great.

Ports of call were a little weak with just Coco Cay, San Juan , St. Martin and Funchal, we needed at least one more port in Europe but the 5 days in the Caribbean was really nice after a cold long winter.

In conclusion, not sure why there is ANY negative reviews on this ship at this time cause we spent t 11 days at sea and just didn't see anything to really complain about. Maybe because we had so many great cruise critic fans on board.... Over 400 I believe and folks just seem to be all having a great time. Less
