Arrived in Fort Lauderdale day before, stayed at the Hilton Marina. Nice place for a one night stay, very comfy beds!! Walgreens within walking distance. Took a cab to port, had to wait about 15 mins due to 6 ships disembarking and those going to embark.

Had faster to the fun purchased, got to terminal at 1030am, on ship and in room by 11:15. Definitely recommend fttf, well worth the 49.95! Room was ready and we were able to drop off carry ons and unpack once luggage arrived.

Everything was very standard and typical like the previous 5 Carnival cruises I've been on. What stood out most was the poor service on the lido deck by the bar staff and then at night in the comedy club...which happened to be same crew. It just wasnt the same as previous cruises. Usually there is always someone pushing the bar service, not this time. We did have the cheers program, which may ave been reason? We tipped extra the irst few days but it didnt help so we stopped being so generous. This was also my first cruise where no bar staff greeted me by name. Nothing major but you remember that.
