This was our first cruise on Princess Cruise Lines and it did not disappoint. We had no trouble getting on the ship, the boarding process was quick and our room was ready when we boarded the ship. That is something that we have not had on other cruise lines. It was nice to head to the room and drop off a few things and then head up to the buffet to start our cruise off with some great food. We stayed in an indoor cabin and it was nice and had lots of room to hang up our clothes. The only drawback was the bathroom and shower were tiny. I realize that most cruise bathrooms are tiny, but this was the smallest we have ever had on a cruise. We made due with it and it did not detract from the cruise. The ship is almost 10 years old and it is not as big as some of the newer ones, but it is in very good condition.

As for the activities on board, they did have alot to do, but one thing that was missing was "corn hole" or bean bag toss. I have enjoyed daily tournaments on other cruise lines and they did not have it at all on this ship. The cruise staff was very friendly and engaging. The only complaint about the staff was the cruise director. He was no where to be found on board except when he introduced the nightly show or you might hear him make some announcements during the day. I can honestly say that I never saw him once out and about on board and that was kind of disappointing. The rest of his staff were a lot of fun to be around and made the cruise fun. Our waiter in the Palm dining room was the best, he was a funny guy and was enjoyable to be around. The ports of call were nice. Their own island Princess Cays was the nicest cruise ship island that we have been too. It was larger than most and was nice and clean and well maintained. You will have to tender onto the island, but that was smooth. We also stopped at Curacao and Aruba. Both islands were nice and fun to see. They seemed like most of the other caribbean island that we have visited in the past.

The food on the ship was very good. I have no complaints at all with the food. The dining room service and food was spectacular. The buffet food was very good as well. They had a large selection to chose from in both buffet lines. The entertainment on the ship was good. The did a few production numbers that we very good. They had a guitar comic that was funny as well. The last night they had a comic named Sarge and he was a riot. He was very funny and could sing and play the piano as well. I would highly recommend him if you get a chance to see him. Getting off the ship took longer than expected, but it was not that bad. So if you are going to be sailing on this ship sometime soon, you will have a great time.
