My mother-in-law and I cruised Norwegian Sun, Inside Passage to Alaska, from Seattle on September 16, 2006. We flew to Seattle on American Airlines from Dallas the day before. The flight was very nice and security actually was relatively fast.

I had reserved a room at Best Western Executel near SEATAC through Priceline for half price, which was a really good deal. They picked us up free of charge from the airport. The hotel was a bit outdated, but it was clean, the people working there were very nice, and they had a good complimentary breakfast. The next morning, we caught the shuttle van, Seattle Express, to take us to Pier 66-Bell Street Pier. I highly recommend Seattle Express. I booked them ahead of time on-line through the Internet. They were only $10 per person one way.

Getting on board the Sun was a breeze. We only waited in a short line to sign in and only about 30 minutes to board. We went to the buffet to have lunch. It was pretty crowded, but we found a good seat and enjoyed our lunch.
