We have taken 18 cruises and the last 8 have been on Celebrity. Once again Celebrity has set the bar far above other cruise lines. After a 15 hour flight on Cathay Pacific airlines we stayed one night at the Marriott Sky City near the airport. The hotel was excellent! Great service, very clean, excellent food and a fabulous indoor swimming pool. After check-in we took the train to the Star Ferry terminal and went across the harbor to the Peak. It is worth the wait of the long lines- a truly fabulous experience and what a view- especially at night. We took a cab to the airport the following morning and boarded the Millennium very quickly and easily. The ship is being well maintained and the new carpeting and bedding in the cabins are refreshing.

Because we had early shore excursions we ate in the Oceanview Cafe for breakfast. It has a wonderful selection and often there were so many assistants to help bring over to our table coffee and juice. The food for breakfast and lunch was warm and very tasty. For dinner we ate in the main dining room. The service and food was excellent. My husband is a very picky eater and he always found something on the menu matre-d, Igor, was the best- always checking on us. The last night of the cruise we returned late from our shore excursion in Singapore and he met us at the dining room and escorted us to Select Dining- a very kind gesture of his hospitality.

Our cabin stewards were excellent in keeping the cabin so very clean and well stocked with towels. The entertainment was also excellent. There were a few wonderful entertainers from Australia who were my favorite, like Darren Williams. The Celebrity singers and dancers were excellent as was the Celebrity band. Read more
