This was an OK cruise: not great, not terrible.
Ship: Ship was a bit tired and in need of refurbishment - mostly in the cabins. Public areas were OK, but decor (sort of a Greco-Roman meets Las Vegas) was garish and unappealing.
Activities: gym was fine. Mini-golf course was very old looking with faded artificial plants and old 'Mayan' stones.
Service: Our cabin steward was good, friendly and helpful.
Ports: Belize - cave tubing was interesting, water was cool and jungle was lush - not amazing, but probably worth doing. / Mahogany Bay - loved the cleanliness of the beach and the water, the food and drink service, cabanas, the snorkeling (even tho some would say a 'fake' cruise-line built experience) / Grand Cayman - loved stingray trip with Stingray Sailing, nice clean atmosphere on island.
Stateroom: soiled and worn carper, work sofa and desk, old-school big-box TV sticking out into the cabin / bathroom sort of worn / only body wash and shampoo in shower wall containers (no amenities such as bottles of lotion, etc.) There were 'samples' of lotion and Breathe-Rights. Our neighbors' balcony doors were often slamming LOUDLY and shaking our space.
Dining: Lido had a good selection and ample seating. Many staff provided friendly and helpful service. Truffles dining room food was mostly good, portions were fine, entrees sometimes not as hot as preferred. Some servers were merely doing their job, some were very good. Very casual range of attire most nights including 'elegant/formal' nights. Golden Fleece steak house was good. Loud music from outside the restaurant was not the quiet elegant style to fit the dining experience. Service was good.
Entertainment: magician was OK.
Disembarkation: waited for our # to be called, found luggage quickly and were able to leave.
All in all, was OK, but would choose another cruise line for nicer ship and better amenities and atmosphere in the future.
