We flew into Miami Saturday and enjoyed the evening in our hotel. We boarded the Sun around noon and went straight to our room. We had champagne and the cheese plated delivered. We had a midship balcony suite and loved it. We sat in our room with a view of the port and enjoyed a nice treat to ourselves.

The ship was smaller, which we knew, but that wasn't a big deal to us. The staff was very good and very helpful. Arnell was our housekeeper and did a great job.

The room was large and comfortable. We loved having the extra space in the room with the sofa. There was a lot of storage in the room (comparing to the Dawn stateroom with a window). The balcony was something we will always have from now on. It was nice to sit on our own balcony any time we wanted. We read books, sunned, enjoyed the beauty, and of course, had cocktails there. I loved sitting there as we departed from the various ports.

We loved 9044, a midship balcony. Lots of room for storage, extra space and the sofa was nice. We loved having a balcony.
