Ship Facts: Celebrity Solstice Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Solstice Deck Plans
Fantastic Solstice 5 stars all round
Hi, we just got back from the 12 day Queensland cruise on the lovely Solstice.

We are a couple, travelling with friends, and we usually cruise with Princess, so we were looking forward to trying the opposition..LOL...

Embarkation was super quick..onboard by 12pm..greeted with mimosa cocktails...very nice touch. Made our way up to the buffett for lunch. Fantastic laid out eatery with numerous food stations of every kind, beautiful food there at all times. Went to our cabin about 1.30pm, lovely big inside cabin, very comfy beds, plenty of storage, beautifully furnished, lovely cabin staff.

Gorgeous ship, very classy, loads of places to sit and have drinks in the lovely bars all round. Dining rooms are spectacular, and food beautiful. Tuscan Grille was superb. Drinks were reasonably priced..cocktails around $7, beers $5. Free ice cream in the buffett all day and lemonade/fruit juice also available all day at the coffee stations.

Staff were very nice, always said hello when you passed, ship is spotlessly clean, and we have never seen so many lovely deck lounger chairs in our life....even on the hottest busy day there were dozens of spare chairs everywhere, never felt crowded anywhere.

Pools were super lovely and very clean, tender ports were easy to get on and off..mind you we did wait for the later tenders, as we were not early risers!

A very relaxing cruise, and we will be back next year...we still love Princess too, but its great to now have 2 cruiselines that meet our needs locally.

Disembarkation very quick, all went very smoothly.

Do yourself a favour and try this great ship....happy travels!!

S&D
