Great city. We arrived allready 3 days before embarkation because my husband was going to run the Barcelona Marathon. 
We stayed in hotel Vilamari. A nice 4 star hotel next to the placa Espanya. They have a special cruises package which includes early check in, late check out and a bottle of Cava.

On our arrival day we just walked around the area and took the underground to the Ramblas. Walked around a bit and had dinner close to our hotel.

On Saturday we had made reservations at Go Car Barcelona. We rented a Renault Twizzy, a small electric car and perfect for sightseeing in Barcelona.  We visited all the highlights in a relaxing way. 
We had dinner in restaurant El Sortidor. Very nice dinner and wine,

On Sunday my husband ran the marathon and we only had dinner. This time at restaurant Luki. Also very nice and good value,

On Monday we took the underground to the Colombus Monument and from there the port bus to the ship. Very easy and did cost us only 9 Euro for 2.

Barcelona

We only jumpen of the ship and walked around the shopping area created in the port. Most shops were empty or closed so there was not much to do.

Tunis (La Goulette)

We walked of the ship directly into the city centre. We used the hoho bus which gives you the opportunity to see the city in a relaxing way. After that we did some shopping. Palermo has great shops. From affordable to luxurious. 
For lunch we stoppen at a small restaurant and had a lovely Italian lunch.

For us Palermo is a city we will definitely visit again, it is lovely.

Palermo (Sicily)

Small city, few shops but a lovely walkway besides the beach. We only walked around a little and and a very good lunch at a small Italian seaside restaurant. A big plate of deep fried fish mmmmmm delicious.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We disembarkated at Genoa, walked to the railway station (5 minutes walk) and took the train to Milan. So we did not see anything of Genoa.

When we were on the Jade, we only had dinner in the MDR once and that was no success, the food was of no taste, so we used the speciality restaurants all other nights and liked that.We also liked this ship much more than the Jade even though this is also a nice ship.
