Service level disappointing at dinner but still had fun.
1st time cruising on Carnival Glory, the ship had no issues but the service level at dinner time has gone down since our 1st cruise 4 yrs ago.
3X's we had to ask for iced tea at dinner, when typically they remember and give you the same drink night after night, they did not and we had to ask each time. We finally gave up and drank water.
Sometimes we didn't have all the dinnerware at our table, ie...missing spoons, missing butter, missing glasses...etc...
At least once we ordered an extra meal to share and they failed to bring it, forgot I guess?!
Also we gamble at the casino daily, immediately after dinner there seems to be no wait staff in the casino. Suddenly after late dinner, about 10 show up to serve you. Then later they seem to all disappear again?! Took us 2 days to get our free drink card so we expected better service but we got our money's worth.Other than our service in the casino and at dinner time, we had a blast and hope Carnival can raise their More level of service as we saw it years ago when the servers had a bit more time to chit chat and get to know you better and us learn about them. we had an interior cabin which was nice and quiet which makes for good sleeps. We've not yet had a balcony.
