We have cruised on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity. Celebrity is by far our favorite cruise line. We cruised on the Eclipse last March and loved it! The ships are very similar, but I liked the decor on the Eclipse better. We live in S. Florida, so we did not have to deal with the airports and or hotels.
We drove to the port of Miami, and parked our car there. We got to the port about 11 am and it only took about 30 minutes to register, get our sea passes and board the ship. I was impressed by how organized it was.
Once aboard the Reflection, we went to the excursions desk to book and excursion for the kids in St. Thomas. They went on a catamaran, and sknorkeled at the sunken ship site. They enjoyed the ride, but there were very few fish to see. They were very dissapointed.
Good size bathroom, but small shower. Great water pressure and nice to have a shower door. The room is tough to get around, should have had table taken out. The balcony was small but enough for two of us to sit out on. The bed was very comforatable as well as the comforter and pillows. That was a plus. We always had fresh ice in our bucket and clean towels. For as much time as we spent in our room, it was fine. The only negative is the air conditioner we had as cool as it goes, but the room never got really cold.
