A Cruise with Carnival Glory

Sail Date: March 2013
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

I have booked this cruise because of its itinerary through beautiful tropical islands: Bahamas, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, and Grand Turk.
Because of some problems at departure from Bahamas, we arrived late at next stop in St. Thomas. The Captain Francesco Borgogna didn't bother to recover the time lost and therefore the shore trips in St. Thomas were canceled or cut short. The visit in this island was compromised because of this Captain Francesco Borgogna ! At next stop in Puerto Rico, when we left the port, the news about the problems with other Carnival ships came out and in that moment the Captain decided to sail directly home to Florida skipping the last stop in Grand Turk Island.
The Captain and the company gave us an explanation about some medical problems in that island, problems not confirmed by international medical agencies. The Captain and the company offer us no any alternative like staying longer in Puerto Rico or visit another island, just a ridiculous refund of More $14.72.
With the problems they have been having with other ships, the Company decided to save some money against the passenger's trip. There were a lot of passengers coming from all over the world spending money to see the Caribbean Islands and all they got was time spent on ship drifting for 2 days toward Florida.

Next time definitely I will go with another company who respect the itinerary and cares for the passengers. Less

Cabin review: Carnival Glory

Our cabin was good, very spacious because we were 2 in a cabin of 3 persons.

Port and Shore Excursions

Forts & Pirates

All made in a rush, just to get rid of us ASAP.

The ship stayed to little in this port although this stop should be longer since there are a lot of things to visit.

Island Tour

The tour cut short because ship arrived late. Because it was rushed, we haven't seen what we had wished.
