Last month I was on a 9 night sailing on Enchantment, leaving from Baltimore and visiting San Juan, St. Thomas, Samana, and Labadee. This was my 15th cruise, and 12th with Royal Caribbean.

Pre-Cruise: We drove in to Baltimore and stayed at the Hampton Inn Inner Harbor. That night was very cold and windy, and walking around the harbor was not pleasant. The hotel, however, was very clean and conveniently located. Fortunately, the weather turned and embarkation day was beautiful, around 50 degrees - not bad for Baltimore in March.

Embarkation: Baltimore cruise terminal is not fun. The terminal building is small and cramped. We kept being pointed to "Diamond" lines that turned out not to be Diamond. All in all, once we checked in, we were quickly on board, and straight away to Park Cafe. There was no crowd, and the roast beef sandwich line was short.
