very, VERY Disorganized
We purchased the Cunard transfer from LAX airport to the embarkation site. We arrived at LAX at 8:30 AM and were not met by any Cunard personal. We called the 800# and finally were met at 9:00AM, after we got our luggage and were wondering around the airport. We were told the transfer bus would arrive at 10:00 AM. The bus did not arrive until 11:30 AM!!! And then made 4 more stops at the airport and we finally arrived at the ship at 1:30 PM....5 HOURS after we arrived in L.A.

Disembarkation was a nightmare. We were told to be in the Theatre at 8:00 AM for disembarkation between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. There was an announcement saying the terminal was quite empty with no lines for Customs. Well, we sat in the Theatre until 11:00 AM and finally told we could disembark. Cunard personal told us the delay was due to it Customs problems. We were in line with people in tears due to missed plane flights home. As we were standing in line at Customs, an excursion tour (#13) walked right past us and walked thru Customs. This is after Cunard kept us on-board for close to 3 hours waiting to disembark. I can only assume the excursion tour people were still paying customers to Cunard and people disembarking did not need to be tended to. Once at Customs, 3 different agents told us the delay was the fault of Cunard, with the Queen Elizabeth docking 45 minutes behind schedule. We have been on a number of cruises and never had a 3-hour wait amongst such disorganization. It certainly put a damper on our cruise. Entertainment was fair, food was good, customer service was poor.
