I'd like to start off by dispelling any bad rumours about the Carnival Breeze. This is my second carnival cruise and was the best experience out of them. Almost everything top notch and service was beyond excellent. Carnival Cruise Line really deserves kudos for building such a fine ship, staffed with hard working and courteous employees.

This Carnival Cruise was the 8 days, eastern Caribbean cruise with stops at St.Thomas, Antigua, Tortola and Nassau.

Food: My family and I dined in the lower blush for 7 out of the 8 days. The food on this ship was delicious however, there was nothing to brag about either. The creme brulee was undercooked and the escargots felt like plastic. However, other than those two outliers, everything else did not disappoint. The chefs did a terrific job with their culinary display as everything was put together perfectly and the dishes were beautiful. The lobster on formal night was delicious, the beef was always cooked just right and the desserts were scrumptious. I would recommend trying the chocolate melting cake at least once on this cruise. You will not regret it. One thing to point out: the food usually arrived warm, not hot and service was usually quite slow. However, we were placed at the back of the ship dining room thought so that's something to keep in mind. The waiters were always friendly and willing to fulfill any of our needs. I will talk more about service in another section. However, the best part of each night was the dancing waiters at the end of dinner. Make sure you don't miss this entertaining soiree.
