The American Queen is definitely back and better than ever. We have just returned from a 9 day New Orleans to Memphis cruise and not only was the shipboard experience excellent the hop-on hop-off bus routes and the premium tours were excellent.

The food was very good and plentiful, cookies were always available. We did learn that in 2012 the food service was outsourced and in 2013 it has been brought back in house. This has clearly made a significant difference as everything was well scripted.

The cabin, we stayed in an A category cabin on the 5th deck, was more than adequate. Clean, bright and quiet. Read more
