We, my DW and I were, on the Carnival Glory on a Sept. 16 cruise.

We boarded the ship in Port Canaveral at 3:00 after being shuttled in from Orlando International Airport. Cruise terminal 10 was fantastic and the Carnival staff there was more than friendly and helpful. Getting on the ship was a breeze.

After dropping off our carry-on luggage in our cabin on the Verandah deck (cabin 8301) we went up to the Lido deck to get into the swing of things. There we could see the Disney Magic as well as the Fantasy in port and getting ready to leave on cruises of their own, we also had a great view of Cocoa Beach as well as the Kennedy Space Center. We also met Fun Ship Freddy (Carnival's mascot). Weather wise, it was quite warm (88 degrees).
