We began the trip by flying into Seattle the day of the cruise - something we don't normally do but we got a great deal on the airfare and we took a chance. We got on the boat just fine, but it was a close call. When they say that check-in ends at 3 p.m., they mean it!
Embarkation was fine. Of course, no one wants to stand in line when you could be on the boat already, but it was not bad. I think we waited about a half an hour or so. It was probably so short because we arrived around 2 p.m. (check-in ended at 3 p.m.)
Our room was GREAT! We are spoiled cruisers and are used to balcony rooms, so this was our first time getting an oceanview cabin. I was surprised that the window wasn't just a porthole; it was a full-length picture window with a large ledge that you could sit on if you wanted!
