Family of 5 First Time on the Fantasy
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Port Canaveral (Orlando)
As usual, Disney was awesome. From the speedy embarkation process to the painless disembarkation process, everything was exceptional.
We had two connecting outside Family cabins on deck 8. The rooms were very spacious. Lots of space to store luggage. The split bathroom is a wonderful feature on all the Disney ships. The beds and pillows are more comfortable than on any other cruise line.
We ate dinner at Remy's and had a champagne brunch at Remy's as well. The food and service at Remy's is well worth the additional fees. We ate at Remy's on the Dream as well and it is by far the best dinner experience we have ever had on land or at sea.
The food in the main dining room is good, but not memorable. The servers in the main dining room however are More fantastic - always going the extra mile. Liam - our head server - was exceptional. We have never had such personal attention from any other head server on any ship.
Our 11 and 14 year old were involved in the kids programming from the time the woke up to the time they went to sleep. They did grace our presence for dinner nightly, but otherwise, they were off doing their own thing.
Our 7 year old also enjoyed the kids programming a few hours a day, but also spent a lot of time with mom and dad at the pool. He loved the Midship Detective Agency.
We rode the Aquaduck countless times.
Castaway Quay, as always was our favourite port. It definitely is the prettiest beach we have seen anywhere. It never feels crowded. Lots of beach chairs and shade.
We did the Campo Zip Lining excursion in San Juan and loved it.
The kids have voted this cruise the best vacation ever!
We did a dummy future cruise booking on board the ship. Looking forward to going back in 2015! Less
