This was probably the most enjoyable cruise that we have taken to date. I've cruised several times on Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Previously we have stayed in an Outside Cabin with window, balcony and now an inside cabin. This cruise we decided to stay in an inside cabin so we could spend more money on excursions.

Easy access to the cruise port. We paid to park at the Franklin Street Parking Garage and it was half the price of parking at the cruise port. It was a secured parking lot and there was a free shuttle every 8 minutes that took us for free to and from the port.

We had an awesome time. The room was cozy and being inside was not an issue. If we had a balcony we would have only seen the ocean and the port as we pulled in. The bathroom shower was noticeably bigger, which was the only real difference from the Star vs the Norwegian Sun. The ship was much bigger than the Sun, and offered many restaurants, lounges, bars, etc. The dinners received an A and the service received an A+. We only paid for one dinner at the sushi bar and is was A+ and cheap. On a previous cruise we ate at one of the specialty steak restaurants. It was good, but it cost us an additional $40.

We had an side forward cabin which was comfortable. The bathroom shower was spacious, there was plenty of storage space and there were several mirrors which added depth to the room. Only $399 per person!
