My Wife and I decided to go on a Honeymoon Cruise. It was our 4Th cruise in 4 years all with NCL and this was to be our longest with 11 days. This year we decided to go a little earlier because last year we happened to run into the spring breakers. We left Miami on February 6 also I forgot to mention that we were on the Sun Last year also. Since it was our second year on the Sun we pretty much knew our way around. The first night we ate at The Seven Seas and I arranged to let the waiter know it was our Honeymoon. They all came over and sang to us, it was fantastic. Here is a list of things we enjoyed, keep in mind we saw most of them before.
1)We always eat early so we could catch the 7:30 entertainment then go to the Night Club to catch the evening show. Then we would dance till all hours of the night.
2) They had a 2 for 1 bar that was open from 2-4pm every day that was a hit.
3)The Entertainment was first class especially the Broadway Reviews but the hypnotist was so funny I laughed till it hurt.
4)Richard and Sinful Sin and the rest of their staff should be complemented on their efforts for everybody to have fun.
5) Our rooms were clean and the food was great
6) The 5 ports of call were safe yet enjoyable
There are a few things I would change to make a Cruise on the Sun more enjoyable
1) We have been on the Norwegian Spirit and the Sky they have clocks in the room the Sun does not
2)When our pre arranged bus ride stopped at the airport they would not let any of us off the bus until the bus driver got all our luggage off. Which was fine until he forgot some of our luggage and would not get out the rest until he was done standing at the door collecting his tips. Tacky to say the least
We were so happy with cruise we are going back on the Sun for the 3rd year in a row next February
