My wife and I travelled with 2 other couples from Central Michigan and Central Ontario. This was our 7th cruise with Carnival. As usual embarkation was very efficient as we were in the terminal for about 30 minutes before we were on board at 11.30am.The ship is very spacious and is well laid out.If you like the Conquest line of ships you will like this one even more. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist guests. The ship is kept spotless and there is constant cleaning taking place. We had a balcony cabin which was a good size for 2 people. Our room steward did a very good job of keeping our cabin clean and meeting out wants and needs. We had early dining in the Scarlet dining room and our head waiter was Ida assisted by Jason and Ariel. These fellows were professional in every way and did an excellent job. There was a good variety of food offered and the portion sizes were perfect. On some nights the food could of been hotter but then one has to remember that they are serving thousands of people at the same time.We had lunch most days on the Lido deck and again the variety of food was very good and well prepared.

For entertainment the 3 Broadway style shows we seen were very very good and the dancers were excellent. The male singer was very good however the female singer lacked experience and her singing left a lot of room for improvement.Other entertainment area's such as Ocean Plaza had a great band playing by the name of the Black Jack Band. The Piano bar with Piano man Bob also offered an enjoyable experience.

The ports for the most part Cozumel,Costa Mayo,Ile Roatan are good and offer a pleasant experience.Belize should be discontinued as is does not offer a lot for the traveller. If you walk out of the cruise port you will be hounded by locals trying to sell you everything imaginable.
