We booked this cruise for the destinations and not the ship, thank the lord!
Our 25th anniversary was spent with several friend who were going for the destinations as well.
After boarding the ship,we noticed there were no robes in the cabin so we made a call to customer service. We quickly showered and changed to go to dinner in Hong Kong for our friends 65th birthday. When we got back to the ship one of our bags was sitting in the hallway all by itself and the robs that were place in the room looked like they were used to mop the kitchen floors! Yes, I was pissed!
I called the room attendant and asked for clean robs which were provided.
This cabin is what Celebrity calls a C3 concierge, the bed skirt was tattered and torn, shower curtain moldy, shower head broken and the vanity chair heavily stained not to mention balcony floor covered with trash and debris.
We tried Olympic specialty restaurant on two occasions, the first time the food was so salty we could not eat most of the meal, the last time just eatable. Celebrity, please instruct your chefs to lay off the salt please, that is what salt shakers are for.
Qsine was outstanding and Predrag and his staff made our 25th anniversary dinner very special, we ate there twice!
After we filled out a customer service questioner stating all the problems with this cruise, we returned to the ship after an overnight in Saigon to find all item listed had been remedied.
New shower fixture, bed skirt and vanity chair had been replaced.
Also we were given credit for one of the Olympic dinners.
Stateroom attendant Abdul was very good at his job, thank you.
At the pool bars some of the bartenders acted like it would kill them to answer a question about the daily drink specials, how hard can this be?
Next cruise will be on another line unless Celebrity gets its act together.
