Without going into a lot of details, this cruise on board the Silhouette was simply outstanding, I'm very surprised at some of the past reviews based on what we experienced. First, the whole staff was very friendly and accommodating, the ship was spotless, the food was terrific and the entertainment was as good as we have ever seen. So if you are scheduled for a future cruise on Silhouette, rest easy, you are in for a real treat.

I would like to especially mention the dining experience as it gains more attention from readers, we had one of the best waiters ever in the MDR and the food was outstanding. We did not go to any specialty restaurants as we had been in the past on other Celebrity ships, and the experience in the MDR was so good we looked forward to it every night.

We had the classic drink package and found it to be a real treat, the bar staff and wine steward in the MDR really served us well. Our wine glasses at dinner never went empty, and the inclusion of specialty coffees was especially nice. Read more
