I was very discouraged by the reviews that I read on Cruise Critic and considered cancelling my cruise....Wow, I am glad I didn't. This was our 12th cruise on Carnival and 18th overall and we were not disappointed at all. The ship is beautiful and very easy on the eyes and the newness was very evident. Our balcony room on the corner of the Vista desk was great and our cabin steward Dwi was excellent and made us feel very welcome. We had anytime dining in the Sapphire dining room and out of the 4 nights we dined there had no complaints on staff or food. The bar service was excellent and our assistant waitress Suda was a sweetheart. The Tides pool bar also had an excellent bartender named Alex who made delicious drinks. We arrived at the port around 11 and unloaded our luggage and parked in the deck right across from the ship. Headed to the terminal and were in our room at 11:30, by far the quickest embarkation we have ever experienced. All of the food venues were excellent and there were many food choices and we experienced no crowds at any venue except for Jimmy's BBQ and that was about a 15 minute wait.
We will continue to cruise with Carnival and would like to cruise on the Breeze again in the future. We were able to cok in Grand Turk and that was beautiful and were lucky enough to have sunshine and warm temperatures the entire cruise until we returned to Miami where it was 55 degrees!
