Embarktion: Had to wait in line longer than usual and was a little difficult to stand for that length of time. But finally got on board and luggage arrived promptly. Was on Plaza 232 inside and would book this room again.
Dining: Had dinner in Michaelangelos every evening (freestyle) but did sit at same 2 person table with same waiter Jolene and Vladameer. Cannot say enough of the fabulous service and the food was excellent. Lobster served 2nd formal night. Assistance by the staff in Horizon Court was excellent. Always someone there to help. Trident Grill Hamburgers the best you can find. Disappointed in Crown Grill. Ate there last night and filet was tough and lobster too salty. Have ate in Crown Grill numerous times on other ships so was very surpised. Fellow cruiser had rib eye and said it was great.
Entertainment: Shows were short but no big deal. They were entertaining.
Ports: Enjoyed them. Did island tours of the ones we had not seen before.
Had sailed last year with NCL on Epic. Had a good time but the service and food
on the Emerald by far surpassed NCL. I have cruised with Princess before and had thought to try another line for comparison and I think in the future I will be staying with Princess.
