We needed no fancy rooms, so we decided to book the smallest inside cabin as they call it. I do not regret it but however, in the future if we do go on a cruise again I would probably want to book oceanview since I realized my boyfriend can get a little fatigued by the dimmed lighting of the inside cabin with nothing but a view of the small sink and shower and medicine cabinets.
i had no idea what to expect of the daily free food in the buffet area but it turned out to be excellent. the menu was always the same for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but at least none of the ended up with food poisoning. which is probably why they have 14 restaurants for you to choose from, we did cave into the temptations and tried 2 of them. tappanyaki and chinese restaurant. both were good, but being the true New Yorker that i am, i was a tough critic.
the staff had lots of energy and very friendly. although i'd have to say toward the end of the trip they looked worn out, and less smiles. i wonder how many hour they work? or how often/not as often they sleep throughout the whole 7nights/8 day cruise?
the cabin making staffs were very nice since they did not except tip when we left them on the table since $12 gratuity fee is charged to your bill daily.
