Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: New Orleans
On board, we again took advantage of the "Chef's Table" experience. We had done two others on previous NCL cruises and looked forward to this one on the Star as well. (book early, it's a 1-time, limited person event). Chef Andrea was very interactive and made the evening even more enjoyable. There were only More 11 of us at the dinner, which was a nine-course, wine-paired, spectacular dinner.
We met new friends and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Then, we got invited to a galley tour with the chef for Saturday (our last day at sea). Another eye-opening, behind the scenes, tour and experience.
The staff on the NCL Star were excellent. The shows/entertainment was great.
We felt and were treated like family.
We have already booked our next two cruises .... both with NCL.
Love to cruise, especially with NCL :) :) Less
Cabin review: BC9508 Balcony
We were in room 9508, an forward balcony on the NCL Star. There were just two of us in the room. We had plenty of storage space. The bathroom was a little tight, but not unexpected. The staff was accommodating to remove anything we didn't need in the room (coffee pot, mini-bar items). Only one electrical outlet to plug into, however (we came prepared with an adapter to expand). We would have like more more UNDER the bed to store our larger suitcase. Small suitcase fit ok, but large one would not. Noise from outside or the neighbor cabins was not an issue. We met our neighbors next door and across the hall and had no issues. The balcony was large enough to enjoy. Signage on the ship was adequate to find our way as well. No complaints, we already have book our next two cruises, on NCL of course :) :)Read All Balcony (BC) Reviews >>
