Traveled with children

We just returned from a week on Freedom of the Seas. We have previously sailed on Windstar Cruise, pre children, Disney Dream, Disney Magic and Celebrity. Because we had such a great experience with Disney we felt RCI had a lot to live up to.

We booked a Grand Suite on the 10th floor because we came across a great deal and well, we wanted the extra amenities. To us, it was worth it. The size of the room/bathroom for a family of five is fabulous. Our concierge, Bertie, was very helpful and super friendly. Our stateroom attendant Brian was awesome.

Our kids did enjoy Adventure Ocean but our oldest did not like that there was only one activity happening at at time. On Disney ships multiple activities take place at once so if you are not interested in one thing, there is always something else. We did have one problem there and it was with another child who was bullying some of the kids. It is in our opinion that the situation was not handled properly.
