Ship Facts: Celebrity Millennium Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Celebrity Millennium Deck Plans
Was this the same ship as every-one else
This was my mother and I's seventh cruise the fifth with Celebrity Cruises and the second time on the Millenium. After reading previous cruise critice reveiws we were wondering why we had decided to book on this terrible ship- how wrong we were- it made me wonder if we had been on the same ship as every-one else.

Our flights to Singapore with Emirates were first class and no delays at all. our transfer to the Conrad Centenial Hotel in Singapore again was first class- did not have to touch our suitcases at all. even breakfast the next morning was included - this was a first that we have had.

The transfer from hotel to ship was very easy. Even got straight through embarkation with no delay and into our cabins at 1300 hours. Luggage delivered very quickly. Our cabin stewards Lydia and Al were very freindly and could not do enough for us.

The shore excursions were all good- with the exception of one on the second day in Bangkok- bus driver pulled over by the police twice, got lost twice, ran out of petrol and when he found petrol station took him forty five minutes to fill up- however when we reported it to shore excursions (in writing) within 48 hours it had been escalated to headquarters in Florida, to the tour company and the bus company and we got a 30% refund of the shore excursion - now tha's what I call service.

The service in the main dining room was good as well. All meals were very well cooked and presented - remebering that 9000 meals were being prepared and cooked in a day. The only fault was that we were at a table for eight (which we had chosen) two of our dining companions were great- the other four were the least said the soonest mended- they thought it was a fault that we did not gamble our money away and got drunk every night they were even down to eating two main courses each evey night. They wondered why we did not go eat with them on the last two nights. Talk about not respecting other peaples beleifs.

The guest speakers were all very good and informative. the shows in the theatre were also good. However this is the best crew talent show that we have ever come across.

The crew were all frendly even some of the crew members that had worked on the Equinox in September had remembered us. This is also the second time that we had come aqcross Steve the cruise director and again he dide a brillant job. It was good coming back to port and seeing a freindly crew there to greet you.
