We went to rainbow beach in the morning. Small, but water was beautiful. Then we took Gecko ATV tours. The owners are very friendly and we enjoyed the tour. After the tour we went for a dip  at the beach right next to the ship . You need a water shoes to swim there , but water was clear and warm. It was the only port with the beach within walking distance , which is very convenient especially if you have kids.
it was Sunday , so a lot of businesses were closed.

St. Croix

We took a ferry to Nevis and went to four seasons . Would not do it again. Can't use the beach chairs or umbrellas as they are only for hotel guests.   We only had option of 1 pm ferry to get back to st Kitts , which is really not enough time to spend on Nevis . So check ferry schedule carefully before leaving.
When we got back to st Kitts we took a cab to  Cockleshell beach . The time was getting tight and the cab was not cheap ( about $30 each way) but we were glad we did it. The beach was nice   And they have a good beachfront Restaurant there with a good food.
The  deliver waited for us. We used taxi on st Kitts, Nevis , Grenada and st Tomas and had a good experience everywhere . People were extremely friendly and reliable . Don't be afraid to get a random cab. All drivers always came back for us even before arranged time and were very helpful .

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We took a private tour with Beno. Very enjoyable. He is very reliable and has a clean air conditioned van with stocked cooler ( make sure to try a rum punch.... yam).Also he is an excellent driver .We had a special family circumstances- we needed to go at our own pace. And Beno was perfect for us.He did not go with us in the water, parks or spa. We did those things on our own.So for those who are interested in more involved tour guides may look into ship tours. Which is of course a complete different feeling. 
We went to the champagne reef for snorkeling. Beautiful fish and bubbles coming up from the sea floor. It's deep and a little wavy. Also hard to get in the water since its rocky with a rubber mat placed over like a red carpet to enter. Then we went to sulfur outdoor spa. This was relaxing.  They have a few different temperature natural spas.  After that we had lunch at Papillote with a  beautiful view. And last we saw twin waterfalls. Dominica has beautiful natural unspoiled rainforests and nature. Reminded us of Hawaii.

Dominica

We went to gran anse beach. We took a cab to the spice island resort. The beach is lovely and they let us use their beach chairs. They gave us a tour of the resort which is very nice but expensive with a suite running 2,500 for one night. We walked around gran anse beach and did some geocaching.  our taxi driver came back and took us to lunch at an authentic local place where we tried curries, breadfruit, and other local dishes. It was delicious and for 4 people with soft  drinks ( they had delicious local fruit drink) and only cost $35. The place was right next to the port. 
He offered to do a private tour for us . It was very reasonable and we were SO glad we did it. He took us to one of those " spice " places where he did a spice presentation and then took us to a gorgeous waterfall where we could swim.... Oh, amazingly refreshing .

Grenada

Went to Coki beach. Beautiful water, great for kids. But super overclouded.

St. Thomas

we had one of  celebrity suites. Enjoyed it tremendously. Specious and beautiful.  Gorgeous balcony. Every night we were looking forward to coming back to our room and discovering a new " towel animal" waiting for us. The only little negative comment- the balcony was a bit dirty. it probably was not cleaned in a long long time. But everything else- marvelous.

When we went to Alaska  a few years ago - it was $20, which is more reasonable .The shops: selection is not huge, but with very good options and reasonable pricing.
