What an awesome time. This was our third cruise with Carnival and it will NOT be our last. I am already looking at more. Our first two were on the Fascination, one by ourselves and the second with our two 16 yr olds. Both were great 4 nighters. This was our first 7 night cruise and it happened to be our Honeymoon Cruise as well. We were married on September 8th and the cruise was the 9th. Being an evening ceremony, we rushed off to the airport (Ohio) that night to leave first thing in the morning. We landed in Orlando at 12:30 and after talking to a Carnival rep before we left, we looked up the red shirts at the airport for transfers. Within a few minutes of claiming our luggage, we were purchasing our transfers. The only bad thing, the rep didn't tell us about the price increase of $18.00, but it was still not bad for round trip. We were loaded and on our way within 30 minutes, GREAT timing. Once off the bus, we made our way to the lines. Now, from the time of getting off the bus and actually stepping on the ship, this was less than half an hour. Very organized and efficient work by the people getting everyone on board and signed in. So it was no time at all we were looking off our Panorama Deck Cabin Balcony, what a view throughout the cruise. Our room was decorated with the Bon Voyage package compliments of Carnival. THANKS! I had ordered a Honeymoon package with Korbel and some other stuff, and it was there waiting for Debbie as well. We took off to explore the ship (read a little further), but when we came back to the cabin, Carnival had also given us a basket of Fruit too, again Thanks!!!. We had a meeting time and place where we ran into about 20 of our Cruise Critic pals met online through the Roll Call. This was great fun. We could put faces to the screen names now.

The ship was wonderful. A little larger than the last two cruises, so we had some directions to remember to get around. We were only one deck up from the Lido, so I could just smell and be directed to the FOOD. Now finding our dinning room was a little different though. It was the 3rd or 4th night that we realized it was closer than we thought, and we were traveling to midship coming in those doors and we could have just hopped the elevator and went down to the 3rd deck, through the lobby and voila. Louisito and Leonardo were great as our waiter(s). He (Louisito) picked up right away that I was very picky, and took care of me every night. Our table mates were great company. Hello Scott, Ellyn, Ted, Cindy, Nicolle and Jeremy!! It was Ted and Cindy-Lee's anniversary and our honeymoon so we shared our Korbel Champagne with the table and we all shared an anniversary cake and toast to Ted and Cindy-Lee on Thursday evening. Manuel our cabin steward was great. Only once did we not have washcloths replaced (I think Deb lost them). I do think he may have been a little OCD though, every night he would line up Debs make-up and all out bathroom bottles by height in a row. Looked very very neat and tidy. The Casino, well...., it was great too, I didn't win like I did on the other two cruises, so I guess we can just call it even with Carnival on that one. We did make it to the semi's in the slot tournament, but got knocked out. This was usually right between where we were heading each trip so it was a good stop for a smoke and a little entertainment. We did win a hundred bucks in Bingo though in the Amber Palace. Doogie is NUTS!! He will make a great cruise director one day. I think he is an activities coordinator right now.

We bought the DVD Travel Log since we seen many of our Critic Mates and our table mates as well as us on it. We were on it during the big Lido Deck Party and it showed proof why our voices were a little harsh the next day. The ports were Great! Cozumel, we rented a car with Susan and Elaine from our Critic group and just drove around the Island. WONDERFUL. You see so much that way. In Belize we did the Altun Ha excursion, this was another great ruin site. And the landscape is just great. In Costa Maya we did the Beach Break with open bar. Hey, we don't normally drink much at all, but the Loco Mocho's were awesome. In Nassau, the BEST snorkeling we ever encountered. The driver took us our and dropped us off where the reef was about 20 feet or so. LOL, Deb just jumped in and he threw some bread crumbs in right around her, THOUSANDS of fish, it was great. This was a wonderful cruise. Our luggage was delivered very early on the first day, so we were unpacked before sundown on our balcony. When we left the ship, it went smooth and rather quick. And we were on our way to the airport in no time at all. A few times we had to wait for passengers to get back on in ports (Senor Frogs probably), but it was just longer we could look at the view. Booking the next one for us and the girls. See ya all soon. Eric
