I read all of the reviews prior to sailing and I feel like some people were not on the same ship as I was.

The boat itself is lovely, the interior is clean and well decorated. The dining rooms and theaters are all well done. All that aside, the service and food quality take away from the beauty of the ship.

Sadly, many of the wonderful people that we met on the staff will be painted by the same brush as those who were less than accommodating. In some cases, the service was downright surly. The Aloha Cafe in particular has employees that act as if the passengers do not even exist. Each day, I encountered an employee or 2 chatting with others about what was going on in the staff quarters, while people stood waiting for them to cut pizza's or serve sandwiches. In the Cadillac Diner, we encountered horrible service one night, only to be greeted by one of the best servers we have had on a cruise the next night. It is this inconsistency that leads me to believe there is a lack of leadership.
