Day before the cruise I flew to Houston Hobby where I was met by my cousin and we went to HOJO's in Galveston where we stayed the night. We also met up with mustworktocruise (Paige & Charles and Suzanne & Jakie).
Sunday morning we went to see the Conquest arrive, which was great. We then went back to the hotel and got ready to board the ship. We arrived at the dock at 11am by taxi. I found a Carnival rep and due to a back condition we were able to board early, after the bridal parties. We went to find our room and were able to drop off our carryon's.
We then went to eat in the buffet which was excellent. Sunday night I got picked out of the audience for a contest. It was interesting to say the least. I got instant recognition. The whole week people were stopping me to talk, buy me a drink, and take pictures. Wow, now I know what fame is about.
