Since this was my first cruise and my girlfriends 5th cruise. I didn't really know what to expect. And Boy was I pleased with what Caribbean Princess had. This was the CLEANEST ship I had ever seen. The food was simply delicious. I had fresh fish every night of the cruise. The only night I didn't really enjoy the food was the night I had a local fish and that was my fault. I think the fish was called "flying fish" or something. My girlfriend and I did do a "Scholarship at Sea" program and it was very enjoyable. I found the shows to be a little "hookey" but, other than that I will definitely cruise again. Princess will be the cruise ship of my choice. If your into swimming you have more pools than you will ever be able to swim in. What was really nice was the movies under the star. After dinner every night my girlfriend and I would go and see a movie under the star and they were all first run movies. For the two days that we were at sea I found that they was more than enough to do. But if you didn't want to do anything you could find a nice quiet spot and read. Which I did while my girlfriend took a nap every day. I found the three drinks that I had were made just the way I enjoyed them. And I did have ice cream every night with dinner. That's a good way to keep your final bill down. Have ice cream with dinner and not separately at the little kiosk that they have. I really enjoyed the "anytime dinner" option. It work out better than I had thought it would. It allowed us to go anytime and not cut into something we were doing if we were doing anything later in the afternoon. I really enjoyed the little newspaper that was handed out everyday. It had more than enough to do in it. What I did was I highlighted what I wanted to do and then made sure I found where that activity was. All in all I will definitely cruise again with princess.
