Let me preface this by stating that Carnival Cruise Lines was not our first choice. It had been many years (13 - prior to kids arriving-LOL).

We started by traveling to a very clean and organized port which was Tampa. We arrived the night prior and spent the night at the Marriott Hotel located in the Tampa Airport. It was super convenient and the hotel had some of the most pleasant and competent staff we have ever encountered.

The embarkation was smooth, pleasant and orderly. Out stateroom was very neat and nice and kept meticulous by our room steward (Wriponia). The food and services in the ship were excellent. The wait staff and the Maitre'd were also. The staff were accommodating, kind and sincere without being phony or pushy. Read more
