Carnival Glory - Western Caribbean

Sail Date: September 2006
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Port Canaveral (Orlando)

The ship was clean and well organized. Hard to get around the first day.

Dining room staff and food very good, not excellent, good variety. Red Sail buffet was downright nasty tasting food and the worst desserts I have ever seen. Bad for even a school cafeteria. Most of the time we tried to eat there we threw it out and stopped even trying.

Room service excellent and always on time.

Costa Maya Jungle Beach Break was the best, just what you go to the Caribbean for in the first place. We planned to stay a couple of hours and ended up on the last bus back to the port at 4 PM. Free drinks, beautiful site with palms and beautiful beach good value to swim with the Dolphins or snorkel from here. Would go again in a heartbeat. Plenty of room to spread out and just enjoy the day.

The shows are very bad almost like junior high performances.

Overall, does not compare for value with other cruises or cruise lines on which I have traveled. Less
