Hi well we are back a week or so from the new Crown Princess a 9 day Caribbean cruise out of Brooklyn NY. First off the new Brooklyn pier is so much better then the piers in the city ! Getting on and off is so easy now .If your coming from the city ,the best way to get there is take the Brooklyn bridge to Atlantic ave .Make a right on Atlantic ave. and just follow the signs to the pier it is very easy and fast way to get there.

We were booked on the july 2nd cruise .but had to cancel it do to illness in the family .And rebooked it for the 25th of august cruise. It work out better for us in the long run .On the july 2nd cruise is the one where they put the fuel in the wrong tank,so the ship didn't go out until 2:30 am.So they missed i think the best port of the cruise Grand Turk.

We myself wife and 2 boys 14 & 15 left our house in NJ just after rush our on friday the 25th the first day of the cruise at 9:50am and was in our cabin just after 10:30 am .We got our bags at around 12pm..We then went up check out the ship .The lounges seem much the same as on the Grand Princess .The pool areas are i think the best .On the Crown there are 4 of them 2 for adults and the 2 in the center of the ship is for everyone .One they use for movies under the stars .Witch i happen to think ia a great new idea !
