This was our first Princess cruise. We have cruised many times on Celebrity and Disney (with grandkids).

We drove to the port on Sat. The lines were long and we thought OH NO!! but from the time we popped the trunk until we got to our room was only 50 minutes. Embarkation was a breeze.

The room and shower was smaller than Celebrity but the balcony was huge. (Caribe c704). Our room steward informed us that we didn't have a refrigerator but a cooling box. Not sure why Princess advertises a refrigerator in every room when it isn't. For the normal person this would not be a problem but for us it was. My husband takes insulin and it must be kept refrigerated. We had to constantly replace the ice in order to keep his medicine cold enough. Not sure what the purpose of the Cruise Personalizer was for because nothing we had listed was in our room. We had asked for robes and our sodas but they weren't in the room. We had to ask the room steward for them and he told us the sodas and ice would have to be ordered from room service and when he gave us the robes he told us sorry there were no ties for them. I had also asked for the egg crate mattress cover but he told us there were none. My friends asked their room steward for one several hours after we did and they got one. HMMMM
