This report is strictly about the ship experience. I leave it to the eloquent folks in the Europe Forum to describe ports of call as we mainly booked private tours at each of the them or simply stayed on the ship.

My husband and I decided to book on Voyager because we were very interested in several of the ports of call on the Malta itinerary and because we loved Serenade of the Seas when we booked her for Alaska two years ago. We really wanted to love Voyager and tried our best to do so but compared to two years ago, the cruising experience on Royal Caribbean has really diminished.

Everywhere we turned, both shore side and on the ship, we encountered a "CAN'T Do" spirit. We were always met with "That's impossible" or "We're not obliged to do anything more". Almost no one was willing to go the extra mile to accommodate simple requests and sometimes we were just downright lied to. For example:
