We spent Labor Day weekend on the Majesty of the Seas. Because it was a Holiday weekend we spent more then usual for this trip. Was it worth it?? NO WAY. This was my Husband and mine 14th cruise, 4th on Royal Caribbean. We were with 3 other couples. One that never cruised before. They were very disappointed because they have heard us talk so much about our other cruises. We knew the ship was smaller and older, but we thought because it was Royal Caribbean it was still be a great cruise. We were disappointed. The service in the lounges and bar areas was terrible. But what was worst, we could not find a lounge after midnight to just sit, have a cocktail and listen to music. All that was available was the Disco or Latin lounge. The Viking Lounge closed, that's right, stopped bar service, after midnight. The Schooner Lounge was open, but the Piano player stopped playing after midnight. If you didn't want to go to the casino there wasn't much else to do. We met one couple who said they just went back to their room and watched the Movie. I didn't spend all this money to watch a movie. I can do that at home. FOOD - Dining Room - The service in the dining room was very good. We had a great waiter and assistant waiter. Also the head waiter was very attentive. The food in dining room was good. Not great, but good. They had a good selection and we always found something we liked. Windjammer Buffet - Not one of the best. Just OK. I hate to complain because I love to cruise. I always have a good time, because I make my own good time. Royal Caribbean needs to put some attention to this ship. I know it is going into dry dock in January. They need to drydock some of their employees as well. There is alot that needs their attention on this ship.

My next cruise will be in October - Enchantment of the Seas.
