Having done many cruises in the past primarily with P&O Princess, I decided to give Carnival a third & fourth chance by way of doing a back to back. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised as Carnival Legend is a beautiful ship, she sparkles from bow to stern. Embarkation was a mess, I know it is usually a mess on most sailings, however this one was a bit different as they unload our buses one at a time baggage first then passengers, this probably was not a problem if you were in the first two buses but gosh help you if you were in bus number 9 like I was, all in all it took 90 minutes just to get off the bus. The exact opposite occurred with disembarkation as it was quite nice and it went off without a hitch.

I booked my back to back 4 days prior to sailing and I was quite impressed with the fact that I was upgraded from an interior stateroom to an outside cabin with a balcony. My stateroom was just slightly larger than average and VERY clean.

On board entertainment could still use improvement, but that is pretty much with any line that you sail. In room television really needs a lot of help as it is really below industry standard. The pools on Legend are smaller than average, however they make up for that in the amount of deck space that is made available for you to soak up the sun.
