This was our second cruise with Carnival and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We did not participate in very many activities and we only watched one show. We also only made it to our dinner time 4 of 7 times due to other priorities.
We are a young couple celebrating our 5th anniversary. The purpose of this lengthy review is to be more informative than critical.
We began by flying to Miami the morning before our embarkation and staying at the Courtyard on Washington. We had their sail-away special which included the room, breakfast, and transfer to the port for one price. The staff was very friendly and professional. They even directed us to the less touristy but better food selections. It was an excellent choice since it was very close to the beach, where we watched another Carnival ship sail away, and the night life of South Beach.
