This was our very first cruise; we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary; we left the kids at home.

Embarkation: Embarkation was a little stressful for us as first-time cruisers who did not know what to expect. But we stressed for nothing; it went very smoothly.

Public Rooms: Smoking -- Smoking was allowed in most places, except for the dining rooms. We are not smokers, and the smokers are not in enclosed areas. Very few people smoked, but even if just one person smoked, the smoke was everywhere. I wish they would have an enclosed smoking area so that non-smokers would not have to smell the smoke. And also, during scenic viewing of the glaciers, it would be nice if smokers would not smoke during those times on their balconies, since again, one smoker would fill the air with smoke. Read more
