This was our 21st cruise and 5th with Carnival. We selected this sailing for the convenience of Port Canaveral and getting to visit Grand Turk. We used the convenient shuttle from the Radisson at the Port and loved their property for pre/post cruise stay. The shuttle got us there quickly. Embarkation was pretty smooth but no one gave us the daily info sheet with preliminary 1st Day information so we had to wait on another line to get a copy.

Our cabin steward was great and surprised us with adorable towel animals every day. The cabin itself was just ok. Beds improved from last cruises but porthole windows were a joke. You could barely see out of them since they were designed like a round piece of glass with a round tunnel extending past the glass -like binoculars instead of being flush against the outside of the ship! The picture windows were bigger but every cabin we saw had such dirty windows that it wasnt worth paying extra and still not being able to see out!! No light over vanity in cabin, no hair dryer in cabin. We liked bathroom amenities although they were all samples from companies that probably gave them to Carnival for Free to promote their new products.

We ate in the Celebration dining room for dinner and ate at Windows by the Sea for breakfasts and lunches since they were delicious and quick. We loved the variety of international foods available at lunch, like Indian, Italian, etc. Too many lines for everything. To make dining request with Maitre D' on 1st day - could not accommodate us for a window table, after waiting 30 minutes to ask him!! Did not get special dessert for birthday although had been requested 3 times in advance during cruise. Finally received it after tablemates left!! That does not make for a fun celebration. Great food quality and selection. Good table service but not as attentive with remembering specific likes/dislikes like on other cruise lines.
